For the racial accusations, the options are not just 1) accept it & grovel or 2) overreact and say/do something you will regret.

The proper response to any accusation is to demand EVIDENCE for the accusation. That is a biblical principle. You are not under any obligation to defend yourself against accusations that don't even have sufficient evidence behind them. That's the old, "When did you stop beating your wife?" manipulation. The response should be, "Provide your evidence that I ever have beaten my wife."

This is also one of the foundations of our entire legal system. The side making the accusation bears the burden of proof. The defendant doesn't have to prove they are innocent. The side making the accusations has to prove the other party is guilty. That's why you're assumed innocent until proven guilty. Yes, yes, I know it doesn't always work out perfectly. Nothing is perfect when you're dealing with interactions between human beings. But the principle is still valid.

That's why the past few years have driven me nuts! I don't understand how people can sit there, be accused of racism, be given no examples of it, and just... accept it and grovel! Sickening.

The content you spoke of here is in Ephesians 5:11 in the Bible. The new age versions say "expose". The received text I usually access through the Old King James version uses "reprove", listed as el-eng'-kho in the Greek, #1651, has the synonyms of uncertain affinity; to confute, admonish: - convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, in the Strong's Dictionary.

Thank you! Respond, don't react.

I can't stand that crap. We are under no ethical/moral/social or any other kind of obligation to allow ourselves to be manipulated this way by these evil people.

As you said, the choices are not just 1) take it or 2) overreact and say/do something you'll regret and that they can use against you.

If someone is sticking their finger in your face, goading you, you can say exactly that. And make it so everyone can hear you.

"You're sticking your finger in my face, provoking me into over reacting." Keep saying it, the louder, but the calmer, the better.

As you also said, these insufferable aggravators know exactly what they're doing. Expose them!
