And when you read these documents, you cannot get away from the fact that the principles they put for are rooted in the biblical worldview. That's just observable fact. But THAT is what people reject. They like all the good things that come from it. But refuse to bow the knee to Christ as Lord.

If God, the God of the Bible, isn't real, if the Bible's claims are not real, then this principle of "all men are created equal" means NOTHING. In fact, nearly word by word, it means nothing.

"all men" - What even is a man? We don't know what women are men are anymore.

"created" - Created by whom or by what?

"equal" - In what way? Obviously, it doesn't mean equal as in, exactly the same. We don't all have the same abilities, personal traits, capacity, financial status, family situation, or any other outward thing. If it doesn't mean "exactly the same", then what does it mean?

ALL MEN (encompasses women too, since up until 5 minutes ago everyone understood the general term "men" or "mankind" to mean humanity in general), are CREATED (by the God of the Bible), EQUAL (in the sense of value).

We were designed and created by God, and in His image. That is why all human beings have inherent value regardless of their skin tone, age (including preborn), physical/mental health/capacity, or any other factor.

But, as always, the biblical worldview and accountability to Jesus Christ is what people reject.
