The big difference between the Left and Right here is that the right is pointing to a moral ideal to adhere to, whereas the left is pointing to a human form of authority like a dictator, party, or organization. I understand "Common Good" is a line of post-liberal thinking, but at face value it seems... good commonly. Obviously, any radicalized leadership or thought is likely negative, but we need more than just "Liberal Values" to run a society. An ideology will always manifest, that has been show empirically. We have to have some sort of standard to live by. What do you propose? I hope you respond, as this is asked out of respect and good faith.
