That's why I don't call this stuff "mental illness." Oh, I'm sure there are a few here and there. But most of this is just evil. It's rebellion against biology. Most importantly, it's rebellion against Jesus Christ who designed that biology. That's really at the heart of it all.
This same thing has happened in America already, perhaps several times. Back in the day when America was considered, "Christian," it absolutely had nothing to do with Christianity writ large. However, it had a lot of Pietist churches running around with all their social programs. They dude much the same as what we see today but they were considered, "conservative." Go look up the Social Gospel which is a sort of, "Woke Christianity."
The idea of the Social Gospel was that if we got our Christian act together, we'd hasten the return of God. This is called, "immunatizing the Eschaton," or in other words, incarnating the end times. This borrows of course from Millennarianism and the Anababtists.
Today I saw a famous queer theorist man with delusions he's a woman actually admit that he's not a woman. He's not deluded at all, he's just a jerk.

"Wealth turn comfort turn pathological"

Haven't listened yet, but just from the title, it makes sense as the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are doing library reading hours here in CA.
There is a problem with the parents. They got colonized first with this ideology.
This is going to depress me, isn’t it. I’m not sure I can take any more 😭 When will this stupidity end
I saw the title and thought the same thing! I don't think I can handle it today.
