Look up, "As Nature Made Him: The Boy Who Was Raised as a Girl", by John Colapinto. I read it years ago. I gave my copy to a friend and in recent years got a new copy because I wanted to reread it now in light of all this that is going on. It's one of the saddest things I've ever read. What was done to David Reimer and his whole family was obscene.
Did you ever read Bloom’s Omens of the Millenium? In it he saysthat he became a Gnostic after he “realized” he was not to blame for how screwed up the world is. Contrast that with G.K. Chesterton.
