I wonder if it works in both directions? Could you "retake" an institution using the Left's own tools of DEI (PRA) against a "renormalized" organization?
It is not sufficient to just criticize things calling them communist. We need to examine and learn more specifically WHY ideologies and practices of the left are destructive to individual freedoms. People can live under the leftist modes of governing. But what are the tradeoffs? The novelty in government that the USA introduced to humanity is the primary value of individual freedoms. Leftism can lead to various configurations of totalitarian states. All of them at the expense of individual freedoms. DEI is contrary to individualism because it denies the individual. The individual is subordinated to the group based on the governing choice for grouping. Today is it skin color. Tomorrow who knows. With DEI it doesn’t matter who you are individually.
Thus, the real distinction between Left and Right politically is the expectation of and for individual rights coupled with responsibilities. The Left disregards these because the individual is subordinate to the collective. The Right demands these rights and responsibilities of individuals. The spectrum is NOT from communism to fascism. Those are both collectivisms of the Left. The real spectrum is the degree of expectation of personal responsibility and individual liberty.
