Himmler (and his SS) actually had his own Swastika which was called the Black Sun, which was supposedly based on ancient Nordic and Germanic Paganism. This is actually a reference to the morning star (what's morning star in Latin again?) which was seen as a second sun or even as the true sun, though of course less bright. Venus is seen as the morning star nowadays, but in antiquity (when these Pagan religions formed) it actually referred to Saturn.

What's the most prominent symbol for communism? Hammer and sickle framed by a wreath of grain (which makes it look almost like a crescent) and with a shining red star on top. What's Thor's implement? A Hammer. What are Saturn's implements in Paganism? A sickle and a wreath of grain. What's the astronomical symbol for Saturn to this day? It's basically a stylized hammer and sickle.

So all these are references to Saturn as a Pagan planetary deity and as the morning star. Why does Saturn have such an influence in religion and ideologies throughout history and through to today? For that I refer to The Saturn Myth by David Talbott.

Thank you so much for sharing this James. Hearing your personal story is powerful. Seeing that you got caught in an earlier round of the dialectical spiral and got out is inspiring.

Also, I’m happy that you are baptized Catholic (even if you are not currently practicing).

I am behind! Just finished The Book of Woke. I started this, but then decided to go to the MAGA Civil War one first.

I hope in this one he defines "Christian Nationalism." I've listened to endless hours by him and I still confused as to what he means when he uses the term. Different groups (both Christian and non) use the term in different ways. That's why I am always left confused on this issue. I need clear definitions.

Oh no, you shouldn't have mentioned your first book. Cause now I looked at its Amazon page and now I kinda wanna get it. It makes it sound as if you are gonna disprove God using math. And no matter how well you actually managed to do that, it makes it sound really intriguing. I mean I get it. I have written books too and I know what it feels like to look back at a book from 10 years ago and notice all the things that could have been improved. But still, it's your first book which makes it special 🙂 So, what do I have to do to get a signed copy of that? (I am serious)
