Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this topic. A culture is really defined by the stories it enjoys. Lord of the Rings doesn't preach and offer salvation. Dirty Harry doesn't extoll the wonders of the American justice system. High Plains Drifter doesn't teach us to turn the other cheek. And Ghost Busters isn't about the infallibility of the administrative state, nor does it heap praise on many of the other institutions that were already showing signs of decay and corruption over thirty years ago. We need more of these sorts of things. The current offerings of our entertainment industry are nothing but carefully scripted propaganda that garners little interest from the public at large. And social media is not the proper venue for discussions of any significant issue. Hence the success of the many substack efforts that offer organized and thoughtful presentations on almost every issue from many conflicting points of view, many of which I fully oppose. But I welcome their presence and leave it to the reader to figure out their bias and the unsupportable conclusions they draw.
I didn't know "Billboard Chris" had made it to Davos / WEF! How incredible!
You never know how little is enough. Do what you can when you can.
